A cinematic drama, Padma Shri Kaur Singh is essentially a love story of the Olympian boxer turned farmer Kaur Singh. The plot moves from him being a simpleton in a small village called Khanal Khurd in Sangrur to him reaching a pinnacle of his career by clinching 11 gold medals in various boxing championships, worldwide.

Difficulties ensue when he sets out to claim prize money promised to him by the Punjab Government.
