Mukti - The Final Freedom is based on the farmer`s suicides in Maharashtra and how the villagers arrive at a solution for those issues. The story is set in a village called Bagadwadi in Western Maharashtra, a draught prone area and how the farmers` lives go through a drastic change in the pursuit of money and happiness for their respective families.
