Raphaël ghostwrites the "autobiographies" of celebrities. Doing this anonymous work makes him increasingly frustrated, especially since he dreams of publishing his first novel one day. When his boss asks him to write an autobiography for a football star named Kevin, Raphaël discovers that the athlete is engaged to Claire, Raphaël's first love.
When he sees her again, Raphaël feels his passion for her rekindling, but at the same time, it throws a wet blanket on his relationship with Muriel, his current girlfriend. Torn between the two women and at loggerheads with Kevin, whom he can't stand, Raphaël is headed for a crisis.
