Max Minsky and Me
Nelly is a studious 13-year-old Jewish girl living in Berlin who is preparing for her Bat Mitzvah and has a crush on the prince of Luxembourg, who shares her interest in astronomy and outer space.
When Nelly learns her school basketball team is going to Luxembourg to compete in a tournament sponsored by the prince, she decides to try out and calls on 16-year-old Max Minsky to help hone her basketball skills. In return she agrees to do his homework.
