Nicola Six (Amber Heard) has been waiting for her birthday, a day she believes will end with her murder. She's tired of the society she lives in and, in an attempt to orchestrate her own death, she tries to manipulate the men around her into committing the crime.
She focuses her attention on Keith Talent (Jim Sturgess) and Guy Clinch (Theo James). Meanwhile, Samson Young (Billy Bob Thornton) discovers her strange story and uses it to get his creative juices flowing again.
