After her father's death, Emma (Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson) moves in with her cousin Taylor (Isabel May). She becomes the target of a prank perpetrated by Taylor's group of friends: Madison (Odessa A'zion), Jess (Brooke Sorenson) and Paige (Jessica Sarah Flaum).

The girls decide to continue with the pranks and pick Julie, the reclusive girl across the street, whom they've never seen and know nothing about, as their next victim. It's rumored that the house where Julie lives is haunted by a little boy who vanished years earlier, and they know Julie is going to be alone at her house that very night.

What starts off just a plan to have a good laugh quickly escalates when some of the girls don’t come back from Julie’s house. Emma begins to wonder if the girls are pulling an even more elaborate prank on her—or could the rumors about the house across the street be true? When Emma’s younger sister Lilly (Dakota Baccelli) disappears, Emma has to figure out what's going on—and quickly.
