By forcing the end of tours and the cancellation of live concerts, the COVID-19 pandemic has put many musicians out of work. While some artists have opted for performances broadcast live on Facebook or on the screens of drive-ins, the Drummondville group Les Trois Accords has chosen another approach: cinema. In one of the MELS studios in Montreal, Simon Proulx and his acolytes perform a dozen songs, including some of their greatest hits. Behind and above the musicians, giant screens broadcast images and short films showing — or not — the lyrics of the songs.
