Emmanuèle is working on writing her next novel when her father André suffers a stroke. Although the doctor’s prognosis is less than encouraging, "Manu" and her sister Pascale do everything possible to guarantee their father’s well-being, while repressing some bad memories. Because this wealthy industrialist did not make life easy for his daughters and their mother, a sculptor who is suffering from Parkinson's disease.
