Thomas had the perfect life until he lost his wife and Son. After a ground-breaking surgery he is given an implant that allows him to create his own virtual reality on the fly. When Thomas gets a little too comfortable with his new life, his sister and brother and law convince him to reverse the surgery.

After the surgery is reversed, something goes wrong and leaves Thomas drifting in and out of reality.
