Nathan was a soldier who fought and died in the first World War. After his death, a collector imprisoned his shadow and offered him a second chance at life, but he was up against 10,000 other captured shadows. Nathan would give anything to be alive again and in the arms of Sarah, the woman he fell in love with before he died. But in time Nathan realizes that Sarah has fallen in love with someone else, and jealousy causes him to act without thinking of the consequences.
