Berlin Alexanderplatz Part 1: The Punishment Begins
Rainer Werner Fassbinder is one of the great film makers. This program offers people the chance to see his film of BERLIN ALEXNDERPLATZ (the novel of which helped him come to terms with his sexuality as a young man) plus one of his acclaimed feature films each week. The seats here are ultra comfortable. The projection is first rate.
The sound system is among the best in the city. This program at The University of Toronto's School For Continuing Studies would cost $120 per night ($60 for each program). For a sound system they use the tinny speakers on the projector. Folks can give themself a crash course in the films of this great artist at a fraction of that price.
