Just plain old gross. No stars is best. Come on Landmark, pull your socks up and step up. These movie theaters are just garbage!

Everything is old run down and plain bad presentation

Bad in every respect. Tiny screen. Horrible sound. The world's worst cinema seat design - the floor literally slopes upward towards the screen. Antiquated ticketing system. Seats that redefine the word 'uncomfortable'. Etc.
An absolute cesspool of filth and putridness!!!! come on landmark step up

Just plain nasty. Bathrooms are beyond disgusting, very unkept and unhealthy. The smell of staleness, and urine and body odour is the norm in the theatre. No air conditioning or what? Come on Landmark President or CEO, pay Whitehorse a trip and visit your two shitty theatres. They both are absolutely in abysmal state and condition. For Shame! For Shame! Booooo! Knock 'em both down to ground. Build one state of the art one with 6-8 screens and reap the proceeds. Qwanlin is a complete embarrassment for Whitehorse and Landmark should be ashamed at not reading the reviews and lack lustre response from the public for this threate, but Yukon Theatre as well. Corporate Landmark obviously doesn't give a rats behind! Send a statement out in local newspapers stating what as a company YOU are going to do. If not, continue to watch the dismal decline of ye old crap hole traditional theatre.

The Qwanlin Cinema Centre was very nice...30 years ago. The building is old, the chairs are uncomfortable, and are falling apart. The teenage staff are about as engaged in their jobs as one might expect. A renovation is the minimum this building needs in the short term. It's too bad that the plan for the new theatres at Chilkoot Way was abandoned.
Sad state of affairs! Terrible beyond belief.

Took the family to Finding Dory. Had tickets pre-paid online....walked in, nobody checked for them or anyone's at all. One concession side open, massive line up. Asked the fat kid working (he was stressed out obviously) for butter. Huge sighhhhh and eye roll. Get in the theatre, no Air Condition or any ventilation by any sense of the word. Fricking hot, sweaty from all the body heat. Just gross. No usher checking the aisle or seats for patrons. Back door opening repeatedly letting people in for free. Level it to the ground and make over flow parking lot for Qwanlin Mall or the School. Good riddance.
poor poor poor

Was in town for work and thought I'd check out a flick. What a disappointment, this place is just filthy and smells awful. The seating is old and some chairs were broken. The technology (screen, projector and audio) seems as though they were re-purposed from some movie house in a 3rd world country. The locals say the other theater in town is even worse. I shudder to even imagine that being possible.
