This is my comfy place!

Not one of the high-tech fancy theatres and I don’t care. It’s a spacious, comfortable place. They often get movies early, often priced lower than other places. The concessions have all the basic offerings and a bit more. I read complaints from the past about the staff, but they have clearly been addressed because it’s the most comfortable and pleasant place - staff included.

lovely almost older theater. Great & friendly outgoing staff. Better then the newer theater at Best parking anywhere! Lots of great deals & the best movie advisor anywhere Jim the eldest man to work in a theater & no matter if hes tired, or down.. He speaks his mind & helps ya feel like you came into his 2nd home! Love it here!

Love that older theater small!

Except for leaving cleaning signs in the way of walkers/wheelchairs. The place is just as fine as the more modern theaters. It was built in the 80's & that leaves a good feeling, without high prices. Their concessions stands are expensive, but then it really is the only way to truly make money at all these days! I would feel much better seeing a movie theater, then on a home tv or computer. That's a feeling that's not the same at home! Staff are terrific. Jim in his 80's he knows everything, even about movies he would not recommend! Very good staff!

You get what you pay for (which is not necessarily a bad thing)

If you're looking for an ultra modern multiplex with all the bells and whistles, the biggest and sharpest screens, the comfiest seats that recline, the clearest sound system, etc. then by all means go down the 401 to Scarborough Town. This theatre opened in the early-mid 90's and really hasn't been updated much since. The ticket prices are generally $3-4 cheaper than other theatres, and the concessions are standard cineplex prices. They added a pizza/burger/fry stand in the mid 2000's for a bit more variety, and the theatre also has an outdated arcade. The staff are generally capable, but most are students, and aren't always the most enthusiastic about fulfilling the requirements of their minimum wage jobs, especially when it comes to dealing with loud/rowdy theatre-goers or cleaning the floor in between shows. It's a decent theatre if you want to save a couple of bucks, but it's certainly not the most dynamic of experiences. It all depends on what kind of night/day out you're looking for.
