Gross!!!

August 31, 2017

This place looked awesome from the outside but once you go in it goes from awesome to terrible pretty fast. I could not believe how nasty the theater seats were!! Me and my husband had to try three diffrent times to try and find a seat a seat that wasn't covered in old food, and the food we did get was awful my husbands popcorn was terribly burnt!!!! and the pizza slice I got tasted like it was made hours ago couldn't even finish it. Very unimpressed with the whole experience

our money will keep going out of town

February 08, 2015

Wife and I came for a movie and this is the last time we will patronize your place. First off, the seats and floor were dirty. Spilled pop where we were. No care about the place. Second, the restaurant at the cinema was closed and you couldn't get anything decent to eat to save your life. Lastly, when the movie was over, our car and 3 others had "for your information" tickets that apparently were not tickets but it was clear that whoever wrote this was collecting plate numbers. That doesn't seem right. It said you should park in areas with lines but there was lines (just barely there!) and NO signs posted saying people SHOULDN'T or CAN'T park where the vehicles were. Nothing like bullying patrons and forcing them to go elsewhere. We will do just that and tell others to avoid that mall and your cinema. Whitby and Belleville are already places we shop at regularly. Downtown doesn't have anything so thanks for the great customer experience. It's a wonder how that empty mall and your cinema is still in business. It won't be when it is closed.

Dirty, smelly

July 31, 2018

The only good part was watching the movie. Concession stand prices are hideously high, men's bathrooms are smelly, dirty with wet counters and floors all the times I've been there. Lobby area is really dark , confusing layout, with directions and signs telling you to buy tickets at different locations. The seats in the theater need a good cleaning, pre-show adverts are unnecessarily loud. Parking during the day is costly, after 6pm it's free. Poor selection of films, only mainstream stuff, never much variety.

Horrible Sound

January 15, 2015

My wife and I traveled from Bancroft today to see The Imitation Game. We were advised that this movie was open to new mothers and their babies. We had taken in this matinee in the past with no problems. Today, however, the sound was so low my wife could not hear the movie. I asked the "manager" if the sound could be increased a little but she said she turned the sound down so as not to disturb the babies and was not willing to increase the volume. We saw Gone Girl several weeks ago, with new mothers, and experienced no sound problems whatsoever.Because we are 1 1/2 hours away from Peterborough your Thursday matinees worked out well for us in the past but now we will probably be forced to go to Belleville because of the inability of your "manager" to manage the sound properly.
