respectable theater

February 22, 2015

Over all I'm gonna say this theater is really good. Love the customer service! High five folks! Its clean and well kept considering. The concession is good. Reasonable prices and popcorn is always made in front of you. Kuddos to that! Would be awesome to get something else in say like hot doggs like p.g has. But might be to much to ask for. But my over all experience is 4 . 5 star I also travel from Terrace to Rupert just for the Theater ! :D

I think it is fine theatre

March 05, 2014

ticket prices are a steel especially on Tuesdays. Movies come out in a reasonable time frame. 3 screens, better than a lot of small towns. Plus manager is a friendly character. However don't like new "butter" machine. It is a hassle to layer the popcorn.

Needs a complete reno

July 02, 2017

It's a struggling small town theater and it shows. I'm sure the staff do all they can to shine this turd, but it is what it is. It's going to continue to struggle till it either closes or the head office decides to give it a good renovation. And in this day and age where short term profits are king don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen.

Prince Rupert- A theater that's seen better days, and won't be seeing them again if head office has its way.

December 16, 2018

As others have said it's really really showing its age. The lady that runs it mentioned to myself and some friends that both her and the chain are well aware of it too. Problem is the penny pinchers at head office have stated "get more butts in the seats and they'll fix it up" (well maybe IMHO, because you can't trust corporate) But the big problem as I see it is they won't get more butts in the seats if they keep showing the movies they currently show. None of the big ones. They might attract the kids for Saturday matinees, but for adults? The really good ones almost never came here. I've got 1,000s of scene points I never use because none of the movies interest me. :o( I'm afraid to say the it's dying a slow and painful death because the company that owns it is too cheap to spend any money, for either repairs or content. Sad really.

Needs a new manager

March 27, 2019

It's getting old quick. The screens are not too big. Seats are old and broken. A lot of complaints dealing with bedbugs. The lady who runs it always chooses children's movies over adult ones. Most good movies that come out never reaches rupert. If she does show it here. That movie is already out on bluray. This movie theater needs a complete makeover. New manager since this lady chooses a children audience. The sound quality of speakers needs an upgrade. The screen needs to be better. Seats need new ones. The workers don't really deal with loud people or intoxicated individuals going in and ruining movies for people.
