"What kind of a monster are you?" little Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) asks while in the massive arms of a larger-than-life creature in the striking second trailer for The BFG. Taken from her orphanage, Sophie now finds herself in a magical land called Giant Country. Once in his lair, the giant explains who he is, while a terrified Sophie begs him not to eat her. He laughs, and assures the little girl that she's safe, that not all giants eat humans, and that she can call him The Big Friendly Giant. And so sets off an adventure of a lifetime, where the two become friends, face dangers and witness miracles unlike any they've seen before.
