It's groovy, man! Nicholson looks square, man. I think he's a narc, man. Susan Strasberg looks good but there's this really hot blonde who shows up occasionally and she is gorgeous, man! Dean Stockwell was really a drag, always hassling Nicholson about supposedly selling out. Well, you need to cool it, man! You're bringing everyone down and being a total bummer! Bummer! Bummer! He's so flaky that his death scene is hilarious, man! Some people deserve it, man. Henry Jaglom plays a idiot hippie named Warren and his sideburns are ridiculous, man! He looks like he has dog ears, man! Loser with loser hair, man! I wished they'd have let him cut off his hand, man. Bruce Dern plays another weird guy. He must be weird or something, man! Spark this movie up and don't bogart it, man! And keep an eye out for the man, man.

Far out, man! Amusing relic about the late 60s hippie scene. Lots of laughs, some of them intentional! Great cast includes Jack Nicholson, Susan Strasberg, Dean Stockwell, Bruce Dern, and the great Adam Roarke; but it's Max Julien who steals the movie. Oh, it also features Henry Jaglom in a supporting role. Jaglom later became a director of many boring and pretentious films. PSYCH-OUT is the best thing with his name on it. Look out for veteran B-movie actor and stunt man Gary Kent.
