  As we live and die in a world where the minds of man are becoming increasingly insane, the tag line, "Inspired by true events" should try and cause some sort of resonant personalization with its audience. However, in the fim "the Strangers" we see nothing but a sorry excuse for a poorly done fictional horror. Although my i do give the film 2 stars. The first for its cinematography. Although it was by no means extraordinary, the subtlety in the camera work was fun to watch. The slight shaky consistency of the camera throughout created a sense of uneasiness, however at points became to overdone, allowing us to realize we are only watching a film.   Honestly, this movie was retarded. Why were these people being terrorized? I left the theater very dissapointed. Don't waste your time. Waitfor the bootleg at the Chinese Mall.

  This was a good movie, it was very suspencefull movie. The problem is that there was 8 characters in this movie. The movie wasn't that scary but thats just because im not the type of person who gets scared knowing it was base on true events and what the 3 characters were doing to the couple in the movie got me scared. Good movie to watch i'd pay to see again.

  didnt like anything about the movie! it took forever to get the movie going where there was actually some action,then it made no sence,why these people were terorized by the masked people,then i was totaly lost at the end!! just a horible movie all around! Do yourself a favour and dont pay money to see it!!
