Following the last wishes of French playwright Antoine Anthac, 13 actors, who at one time or another played roles in his play "Eurydice," gather at his mansion. At the request of the deceased, guests have to watch a video of a new version of the play by a young company in order to judge whether it deserves to be produced in Paris. From the first lines, Sabine Azéma, carried away by the beauty of the text, starts to recreate the role of Eurydice that she once played on stage. Pierre Arditi, who for his part, was the first to play Orpheus, follows suit. They’re soon joined by Anne Consigny and Lambert Wilson, who held the same roles in a more recent production. Other actors, including Hippolyte Girardot, Michel Piccoli, Anny Duperey, and Mathieu Amalric, join in despite no longer being the right age for the parts.
