If not for Elliot Tiber, there would not have been the now acclaimed Woodstock Festival on Yasgur's Farm. Tiber, who gave the original permit to hold a music and arts festival in White Lake, Town of Bethel, New York State in the summer of 1969 and introduced the Woodstock organizers to Max Yasgur, and suggested his farm would be a great place for a concert.

His docu-comedy "Woodstock: Ticket to Freedom" is the story of how a gay, Jewish man from Brooklyn, went on to become one of this most influential figures of the Woodstock nation.
