To Wai-cheung (Chapman To), a second rate movie producer, must go to extraordinary lengths in order to finance his latest film Confessions of Two Concubines, a softcore film that stars an actress in her sixties, but with a young body double (nicknamed "Popping Candy" for her oral skills).

Things go wrong when the director changes the original script, resulting in the production going way over budget. Meanwhile, To is being sued for sexual harassment by his assistant and his ex-wife won't let him see his daughter, telling her he's in prison.
