Billed as "The TV show that's a cocktail party but which could be a political party," the New York public access show TV PARTY brought an hour of the wildest of the wild to live television every week.
Co-hosted by Blondie's Chris Stein and directed by underground filmmaker Amos Poe, show guests and regulars included Robert Mapplethorpe, Fab Five Freddy, Mick Jones of the Clash, David Byrne, Nile Rogers, Debbie Harry, Jean Michel Basquiat, James Chance, Klaus Nomi and many more.
