Small-town gospel singer Daisy Mae heads north to the address of an old family friend. She finds only a house of ill repute, whose madame invites Daisy Mae "to come right in." Fortunately, her cab driver Joe becomes her guardian angel, whisking her off to a respectable hotel. But the forces of big city evil don't give up so easily.
This showcase for singer Geraldine Brock features a lively pace and a terrific assortment of supporting characters.
