Maia is a struggling model. After suffering a great loss, her relationship with her husband is in turmoil. All this throws her into a form of depression. She holds high hopes that a session with prolific photographer Francesca Allman will rejuvenate her career.

Francesca suffers from severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and has isolated herself in remote North West Wales in a house with an intriguing past. During the photography session, Francesca builds Maia in confidence but has to control her own obsessive desires.

As time passes, Maia becomes an object of Francesca's obsession and things slowly spiral out of control.
