The 48 Hour Film Contest puts your spontaneous and creative skills to the test. Can you shoot and edit a short in 48 hours? The contest begins with registration at 7:30 PM on Friday, April 25 in the Artspace lobby and ends with a screening 48 hours later at the Cinematheque. Completed films must be submitted on DVD or 16mm film by 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 27 for the Premiere screening at Cinematheque at 9:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded including one for the best 16mm!

Rules: The film must be completed within 48 hours from first frame shot to the final edit. This means that all Production (shooting) and Post Production must be completed in the two designated days. Pre-production – Time spent writing, casting, and rehearsing does not count against the 48 hour time limit. The film should not be more than 3-5 minutes long. Good luck!
