Indian director Rajaatesh Nayar's Bollywood opus Sirf: Life Looks Greener on the Other Side embodies a contemporary ensemble drama - with more than a passing trace of humor - about the ups and downs, and the search for happiness, of four couples, played by Nauheed Cyrusi and Ankur Khanna; Ranbir Shorey and Sonali Kulkarni; Manish Koirala and Kay Kay Menon; and Rituparna Sengupta and Parveen Dabbas.

Each couple hails from a unique caste and claims partial happiness but finds themselves missing one critical element: one has all the love they could ever need but lacks money; another desperately desires trust; a third has money but needs love; and the fourth lacks enough free time to work on their relationship and take care of the bare necessities.

As their paths intersect, they find their lives altered by one another in remarkable and consistently surprising ways.
