The president of a large international bank, Deveraux is surrounded by a harem of young women ready to satisfy his needs and those of his small male entourage. The day after a night of drunken sex in the bedroom of his posh New York hotel, the sex addict is surprised by a maid as he exits the shower. Refusing to let her go, he humiliates her and uses his strength to take advantage of her. She manages to escape and files a complaint with the police.

Deveraux is apprehended at the airport as he’s about to fly back to Paris. Alarmed, his heiress wife Simone jumps on a plane to New York. Furious to see years of effort in getting her husband elected as President of France ruined, she tries to free him from the clutches of American justice.
