POP SKULL is the best indie horror picture to emerge from the U.S. in a decade, period.

It's frightening as hell, but moves along ethereally like a horror counterpart to David Gordon Green's GEORGE WASHINGTON or Harmony Korine's GUMMO. The film depicts the lonely and disjointed life of Daniel (played by co-writer Lane Hughes), a young Alabama pill addict, as his efforts to cope with the trials of his day-to-day life collide with the increasing influence of murderous and displaced spirits that inhabit his home.

As Daniel struggles with his increasing sense of unreality, we too come to question what it is we are seeing and experiencing. With intense sound design and visuals that will blow your brain out the back of your head, POP SKULL is an unconventional but wholly unforgettable horror story.
