Mr. D: The Complete First Season
Gerry Duncan (Gerry Dee) gets a full time teaching position at the prestigious Xavier academy after years of substituting. Unfortunately he’s hired to teach social studies, which he knows nothing about, instead of Phys. Ed., which he's qualified to teach. With no interest in social studies and a lackadaisical attitude, he does his best (which isn't all that great), while teaching the disbelieving students pretty much nothing.
The DVD includes all 12 episodes from the first season and a selection of special features on two discs.
Canadian Connection: Filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The cast and crew are Canadian and it is broadcast on CBC television.
