Melissa!
Melissa, a grown woman, was born severely deformed. Her mother died during her birth, and having been raised in the seclusion of the country by her "hermit" father, Melissa has adopted the traits of a freak or monster, although she is not.
While an alcoholic father forces his young son to join him in a hunt for deer as a method of teaching manhood, a chance encounter in the woods brings the boy and Melissa together.
