Lan Kwai Fong is the famous night life centre of Hong Kong. Men and women of the city, no matter their nationalities, flock there nightly looking for fun. On one such night, Steven heads to Lan Kwai Fong where he meets flight attendant Jennifer and the two have a one night stand.

The sparks are obvious and the two feel it is true love so they make a date to meet on New Year's Eve in Lan Kwai Fong. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, Steven's attitude toward Jennifer suddenly changes and he chooses not to turn up.
