Marc-André’s quiet, monotonous life is turned upside when he goes for a walk in the forest to do some bird watching. An accountant, Marc-André loves his wife and the simple pleasures in life. But during his walk, he comes across a slick, translucent giant egg and a naked woman, Mirah, comes out of it. She faints at his feet, and when a call to police isn‘t taken seriously, he brings her home. Naturally, this causes problems with his wife, his in-laws, his co-workers and his nosy neighbor.

Mirah reveals to him that she is an extraterrestrial entity coming to him from a previous life, and can communicate with him telepathically. With Mirah’s help, Marc-André discovers his astounding, untapped occult powers and tries to smooth things over with Urshanabi, whom he sold as a slave in an earlier life during the days of Mesopotamia.
