Nahid (Youssra), a single widow living alone, is struggling to cope with how society looks down on her. She has just gotten hired at a newly opened restaurant, where she befriends another waitress, Salma (Hanan Turk), who has just gotten out of an intense love affair.
Together they are learning to deal with what life has dealt them, but will their friendship survive now that Nahid has a chance to start a new life.
