After being publicly humiliated by the office bully Mark McKinney (Patrick Warburton) in front of his daughter on Bring Your Child to Work Day, divorced office drone Joe Scheffer (Tim Allen) gives himself a makeover and starts training for a rematch.
But as he unexpectedly begins climbing up the corporate ladder, he realizes he doesn't need revenge to earn his daughter's respect, or to become someone else to win the heart of his co-worker Meg Harper (Julie Bowen).
