After the Life
Grenoble police inspector Pascal Manise shuts his eyes to the activities of Jacquillat, a local drug kingpin, in return for providing Agnes, a drug addict with whom he is in love, with morphine. The situation changes abruptly when Jacquillat asks Pascal to eliminate Bruno Le Roux, a former terrorist who has escaped from prison. When Pascal refuses, Jacquillat cuts off Agnes’ drug supply, and for the first time in fifteen years, she’s without a supplier because no one wants to sell drugs to a cop’s woman.
