Extraordinary sets created by Josep Mestres Cabanes, the last representative of the old Catalan school of scenography, delight the senses creating a magical one-of-a-kind experience on the stages of Barcelona's famous opera house. Mestres Cabanes worked on his Aida vision for eight years, painting his amazing historic paper trompe-l'oeil sets between 1936-45.
