A group of friends—married and unmarried, successful and unsuccessful, happy and unhappy—return home on the night of their high school reunion. It isn't long before they realize that despite what they might have thought, not much has really changed.

For instance, Jake (Channing Tatum) thinks he's fully committed to his girlfriend (Jenna Dewan) and is even thinking of proposing—that is until he runs into his old high school flame, (Rosario Dawson). Meanwhile, Jake's friend Cully (Chris Pratt), who married his high school girlfriend, is planning to use the reunion as an opportunity to apologize to all the kids he bullied in school but after a few drinks, he winds up reverting back to his old, mean ways. Then there's rivals A.J. (Max Minghella) and Marty (Justin Long), who spend the reunion picking up right where they left off, at each other's throats.
